Vintage Style Outfit for Everyday

If you follow Revival Retro on Instagram you will know that my current go to vintage style outfit is a Shipmate Knit Tee tucked into a Notting Hill Skirt, accessorised with a Berkeley Belt.

Vintage Style Everyday Outfit: Shipmate Knit Tee with Organic Cotton Skirt

These vintage inspired collared tops are the perfect balance of smart and casual. Regardless of what I'm doing or where I'm going I always feel appropriately dressed.

Made from a breathable 50% cotton/50% modal yarn, the Shipmate Knit Tee is incredibly comfortable to wear. Soft, stretchy and smart is a winning combination for me! And those buttons at the neckline? Fully functional. A very important feature for me as a glasses wearer who frequently forgets to take their glasses off whilst dressing and then ends up stuck...

As for the Notting Hill skirt I am a huge fan. It's perfect. So perfect that over the years I have collected all three colours; red, blue and black. It has the right amount of fullness, a comfortable waistband width, ideal length and, most importantly, has deep pockets.

All three colours are 100% GOTs certified organic cotton and wash and wear a dream. Whilst there are no belt loops on this vintage style skirt, I do like to accessorise with the Berkeley belt. Our high grade leather belts are designed to sit high on the natural waist and actually have their own little belt loop, for situations like this, to stop any excess belt from 'flapping' around.

I am honestly living in this combination everyday and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I just hope that Glasgow warms up soon so I can ditch the tights!
