Q: How do I return an item?

Q: What can I return?

A: Revival Retro Own Range clothing that is clean and in good wearable condition. The item must not be dyed, torn or have undergone any drastic alterations. Minor alterations such as hems having been taken up are fine providing they have been done to a high standard. 

Q: Can I return other brands I've bought from you?

A: We design and manufacture our Own Range therefore we're capable of taking responsibility for the end of life for those garments. We cannot offer pre-loved on other brands though we do encourage them to do what they can to commit to Net Zero.


Q: What is ‘good wearable condition’?

A: Think how you would feel if you received the item in the post. Would you be happy and excited to wear it? If you wouldn’t be then chances are we won’t accept it. 


Q: What’s in it for me?

A: If you successfully return an item to us you will receive a discount code for 40% off the purchase of your next Revival Retro Own Range item. The discount code can’t be used in conjunction with any other codes, sales or discounts and can only be used once by yourself only. The code is non transferable.


Q: I sent 1 item in but want to buy several items from your Own Range. Can I use the code to buy the multiple items?

A: No, if you have only sent one item in you can only use the code to buy one item. If you purchase more than one Revival Retro Own Range item with your code and you only sent us one item, we will cancel your order. However if you sent multiple items then yes you can purchase the corresponding amount with your code. For example if you send in 3 items you will get 3 items at 40% off. If you send 1 item, you get 1 item at 40% off. 


Q: How many items can I send back?

A: As many as you wish to replace. 


Q: How long will it take for me to receive my code?

A: Once we receive your item we will inspect it and let you know the outcome and issue discount codes within 3 working days. 


Q: How long are you running this for?

A: This is a trial scheme so there is no set end date currently. We will continually assess whether to continue as is, make changes or try something new.


Q: What are you going to do with the pre-loved items?

A: All clean, good condition items will be sold on our website here as pre-loved items in a separate collection to everything else. They will be priced accordingly based on the condition of the item and of course we will never disclose who owned the item previously. 


Q: What address do I send the items to?

A: If your request to send items in for the pre-loved scheme is approved you will be given an address to send them to via email. Please note you are responsible for the postage costs and for the item whilst it is in transit. 


Q: What happens if I post my item in and it gets rejected then?

A: If once we receive your item we deem it not to be in as good condition as you claimed, then it might be rejected at this stage. We will email you to let you know with supporting evidence as to why we’re rejecting it. You will then either need to pay postage costs to receive the item back or forfeit the item with no compensation for yourself. 


Q: I want to buy a pre-loved item and a new item, can I have them shipped together?

A: At the moment our pre-loved stock and our new stock are in separate places so it is not possible to ship the items together. If you are an international customer please email boutique@revival-retro.com as special arrangement might be possible. 


Q: Can I return a pre-loved item?

A: Yes as per your statutory rights you are welcome to return any item in the same condition that you received it as long as you notify us within 14 days of delivery. Please follow the return instructions on your packing slip.
