Designed by Revival Retro - a classic and timeless addition to your wardrobe, made in a beautifully soft but thick, breathable organic cotton.
With their high waist, wide legs, generous rise and natural fabric, these might just be the most comfortable shorts you ever wear.
Made in London from GOTS certified organic cotton, created with minimising our impact on the environment in mind.
Streamlined silhouette with a flat front and a side zip with a button on the waistband. Generous pockets in the side seams to pop essentials like house keys and phone.
The pleated front gives a nod to the tailored shorts of the 1940s and 1950s whilst being flattering and adding subtle detail.
Machine Washable.

We designed these to be a comfortable and roomy fit around your middle. They are not intended to cinch you in at the waist.
Available in sizes 6-16 currently but we are working towards creating more plus sizes as we believe in being as inclusive as possible.

The Plymouth Shorts

Revival Retro carefully considers our fabric selection. Not only must the fabric be appropriate for the garment and desirable by our customers, we also consider impact on the environment, where and how it is made.

These shorts made from an organic cotton that is G.O.T.S certified.

With GOTS certification we know that every part of the process of creating this cotton has been inspected. Not all cottons are created equally!

We chose cotton because it is a natural fibre which many people value in hotter weather and because it is practical and easy. We believe clothing should last and part of enjoying wearing something time and again means the ability to machine wash a garment plays an important part in facilitating that.

We chose ECO FRIENDLY buttons for the side fastening, Corozo Nut buttons are a wonderful alternative to plastic because they are ethical, durable, renewable, harvested naturally and biodegradable. They are pricier than plastic but we feel the extra cost is worth it for these reasons.

These shorts were Made in Britain, in fact made locally in London. We have a great relationship with our factories and are regularly in and out so we get to know who made our clothes.

At the heart of any business is it’s people and Team Revival care and are involved in the design and decision making over every garment we produce.

These shorts were designed by Rowena and the team, Fran our expert pattern cutter helped us realise our design ideas, Julie made our sample and Bill oversees our small batch production in East London. Our small business takes a considered approach with our production and we care deeply about what we make and why it is of value.
