Lottie Loves Lucy

There are so many lovely details on this dress I'm not sure where to begin!  Lets start with what grabbed me first; the colour!  It is such a lovely shade of green that suits all complexions whilst the spots are that wonderful cream/white colour that allows you to accessorise with white or cream.

At first glance you might not notice the stitch detailing throughout this dress.  My favourite bit is the combination of matching and contrasting stitching on the collar.  It's so well executed and certainly makes this dress look more expensive than it is!

The matching belt makes me very happy.  It means I have one less accessory to hunt for!  And because it's just a slide buckle it means I can loosen it as and when I need to without anyone noticing!

The gentle a-line panelled skirt is the perfect fullness for me.  The flare starts at the waist which means the skirt doesn't cling my hips and stomach which I find to be more flattering on my body.  The length works well on me too as I prefer my hems to be past my knees.

With Goodwood in mind I accessorised with a complimenting cream Kelly bag for my daytime essentials, my incredibly comfy gold Balboa shoes to keep my feet happy despite all the walking I'll be doing and some nude seamed tights for an extra 1940s detail.

What do you think of Lucy?  How would you accessorise her?  We'd love to hear from you!
