The fabric is a soft blue twill- look closely and you’ll see it’s actually two tones of blue. It’s nice to have a dress with a decent short sleeve, because a dress with decent short sleeves covers the bit we tend to like the least- the top of our arms! The high sweetheart neckline on the Jeanette dress is tremendously flattering on all busts. If you are particularly blessed in this area you’ll be pleased to learn that you’ll be well covered. (Because sometimes a gal likes to get eye contact, ya know?!)
The covered button detailing down the front leads to tied bow- a real bonus if you have a tiny waist an like to cinch your dress in to show it off. The rest of us mortals can just tie it in a relaxed bow…
Stop Staring are known for their flattering tailoring, and the double peplum on the Jeanette dress is the right balance of tactical and sassy. Staring high on the waist and covering the hips and part of the tummy and bottom, far from making your figure bigger, what this peplum dress actually achieves is making your waist look smaller and your legs look longer!
The pencil skirt under the peplum section of the Jeanette is a straight tailored pencil skirt, for a flattering shape that is still practical to wear. The length of this lovely dress will finish below the knee for most ladies, and for those beauties measuring over 5’11 will be pleased to know it should just about reach the knee for them.
