This summer we would have celebrated the the eleventh anniversary of our bricks and mortar vintage style clothing boutique. You know what though?
WE MANAGED TEN GLORIOUS YEARS!
We don’t see the shop closing as a failure, we see it as a new beginning. After all, having the time and space to do things differently has afforded us the opportunity to focus on some really cool projects. In those ten years of having a boutique in London’s West End we met some amazing people, we put smiles on a lot of peoples faces and we became a community hub where many new friendships were made. We miss that part of having a shop.
BUT!! We can still bring you fabulous in person shopping experiences and put on a great social!
On Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November, shop the vintage style Autumn collection, touch, feel, try on, and experience the wonderful world of Revival Retro in person once again. You will find us at 5 Hastings Street, Bloomsbury, WC1H 9PZ, which is less than 10 minute walk from both Euston station and Kings Cross/St Pancras Station. For a map of the area click here.
On Saturday both Rowena and Charlotte/Lottie will be on hand with their expert vintage style tips and our personal recommendations tailored just for you. We will also have some top secret samples with us for you to get a sneak peek at and possibly try on. All feedback, good and bad!, will be highly encouraged. You never know who or what will influence our next garment choices!
Then once the evening rolls around we'll be popping the bubbles and having a little soiree. Remember Thursdate we used to put on every month? Well it will be a little like that. Absolutely everyone is welcome to join us for some informal socialising and chatting. If you're a little shy or coming alone please feel free to drop us an email letting us know and we'll do what we can to make you more at ease.
On Sunday we'll be throwing the door open again with more vintage style shopping and more tailored advice. We will also be rolling out a little "Seconds, Samples & Sale" rail on the Sunday. This will be very limited in terms of sizing, most being around UK 10-14 with one or two being UK 16/8 and UK 22. There'll be anything from a sample from a previous season where maybe the buttons are wrong or the fit wasn't quite perfect, a dress that maybe had to be fixed after being tried on and even items that are a total one off because we decided to go in a different direction for production! It will be a very mixed rail.
In the run up to the weekend we will once again offer a Collect In Store option for web orders so you can save on postage. Use code POPUP at checkout. You will be able to try your order on before taking it home and make exchanges, where possible, on the spot. (Please note, if you fail to collect your order during the pop-up you will be invoiced for postage costs). During the weekend you will also be able to drop off any returns and exchanges in person to the pop up, along with Revival Retro Own Range garments as part of our pre-loved scheme.
Just like when we had the Boutique you will be able to pay by card and use any in date gift cards you might be lucky enough to have. At a push we will accept cash but we won't have any change so if you have to pay with cash, it must be exact money only.
Due to space restrictions and logistics we won't be able to bring absolutely everything on our website to the pop-up. Priority will be given to new season and our vintage style wool separates. If there is anything specific you'd like us to bring please drop us an email and if it's still in stock at the time of the pop-up we will try our best to accommodate.
