#Thursdate is perhaps not the most ear-catching of hashtags floating around on social media at the moment, but definitely an idea that appealed to us here in the boutique.
We often hear ladies say, in relation to their favourite new dress they've spotted in store, 'Oh, but where will I wear it?', 'I don't have any events', or 'I need an excuse to wear it'...
...And this is where we come in!
A Thursday Evening Date with the Revival Girls- our new monthly social night. An excuse to get a bit glammed up, and mingle with like minded ladies who love their Revival Style.
You know, We're often struck by how, frankly, awesome, you all are. If you've ever left here with a smile, thinking 'ooh, they were nice', then we have been in the store, smiling and saying something similar!
We're also pretty confident that if you like us, then you'll like each other. This will be a great opportunity to make new friends (because, honestly now girls, we all know that happens less as we get older), and perhaps do a little bit of networking. You never know who you will be sharing a laugh with over a tipple!
Amongst our circles of regular ladies we have ladies working in law, medicine, charity, property, PR, HR, media and the arts. Think you 'know' who shops with us? Think again. You'd be surprised at how diverse our gals are!
Come and swap tips for restaurants, hair dos or the best schools- we don't mind what the subject is as long as you're looking and feeling fabulous!
Our first Thursdate was a lunch time affair over Thai- which was delicious and informal, although it's harder to gossip efficiently when you're trying not to flick noodle sauce on your favourite frock!
This months Thursday will be on Thursday 29th October. Meet us in the store at 6pm, as we will be leaving here by 6.30 to go somewhere with a much higher incidence of bubbles and cocktails! We anticipate being ready to go home around 9pm, as it is a school night after all. (Also, I have to work the next day...)
Please wear your favourite Revival ensemble, and prepare for me to get over excited and take lots of pictures!
