SAMPLE Handy Pocket Skirt lavender cotton drill

We always thought of doing a summer version of the Handy Pocket Skirt. Exactly because it is meant to be handy with its practical deep pockets that meant lightweight fabrics were out.

We tried a heavy weight cotton drill but we chose to source responsibly and found an organic cotton supply who weaves their own fabrics in France.

The cost of sourcing fabric responsibly meant the sell price of the skirt would be higher than the winter wool version. We weren’t confident how customers would react to that so we never took the risk.

I would describe this colour as grey but it definitely has a purple tone which is why I think lavender is a good description.
