REVIVAL RETRO DRESS | BLACKPOOL

This versatile high necked shirt dress is the perfect dress to ease through this spring and summer.

Though we were inspired by 1950s fashions our interpretation is intended to be an everyday classic not a 'dressing up' costume. Revival's retro dresses designed by our in house team are intended to be timeless additions to your wardrobe. 

We take as much consideration creating our garments as you do in purchasing them: We continue to manufacture locally in London, we chose GOTS certified organic cotton and we are particularly happy to have found a British company reviving the art of button making here in England and using alternatives to plastic like corozo nut.

A nipped in waistline and a beautifully full pleated skirt this dress epitomises classic feminine style. The long skirt resembles an A-line style but doesn't kick out too drastically, offering just the right balance of fullness. The length is designed to hit just below the knee, the most flattering length for many. 

Our retro boutique is well known and widely respected for its excellent range of clothing inspired by the past. You weren't born in the wrong era, you just haven't shopped at Revival yet!

This dress is currently available in sizes 6-18 but we are working towards creating more plus sizes. We always appreciate input so let us know your thoughts.

Our summer range is created with minimising our impact on the environment in mind. Made in a beautifully soft but thick, breathable organic cotton that holds the pleats in the skirt so well! With GOTS certification we know that every part of the process of creating this cotton has been inspected.  

Discreetly stitched into the side seams of the skirt you will find two generous pockets. These have been designed to hold even the largest of phones! Thanks to the fullness of the skirt, no matter what you keep in your pockets, the line of the dress won't be ruined.

Machine Washable.

We design for different body shapes and this style is brilliant for women with bigger hips and thighs but the bodice isn't roomy like some of our other styles. Women with bigger a bust could certainly try this but we would also direct you towards styles such as "Notting Hill" or "Brighton".
