All of our products that are designed in house are based on solving some kind of problem for our customers that they encountered when shopping for clothes that fit and flatter. Pencil skirts can be found everywhere but a curvy pencil skirt with a decent waist to hip ratio... that's harder to find. So, we decided to make one for you. Our favourite design feature? The beautiful fantail in back.
Revival Retro offers a range of mix and match separates each season, click here to build your capsule wardrobe.
A pencil skirt designed for curvy women with a large waist to hip ratio.
The skirt is tapered but would not be described as a wiggle skirt as we favour practicality at Revival; our customers lead busy lives and need clothing that allows them to move through the world with comfort and ease.
The pencil shape would be best described as fitted or tailored and the shape embraces curves which in turn emphasises the waist.
It is the skirt of our dreams! If you despair with the rectangular tube shaped pencil skirts available on the high street then you will love this one.
Our favourite detail on this number is at the back of the skirt: A beautiful fan pleat, so as you walk the luxury and elegance in all the details of this beautiful pall mall skirt really show themselves off!
There's a zip in rear which is long enough to ensure you can bring this skirt over your hips plus a button above, sitting neatly amid the waistband.
This pencil skirt is lined in a beautiful rich burgundy stretch fabric that will slink around your hips.
We make our mix and match coordinates from a medium weight, high quality wool mix. The cloth is woven in Italy and we pick it because of its attractive appearance, its softness and its ability to be machine washed.
Looking for a set? Why not create a matching suit by pairing this skirt with one of our extra special jackets in matching charcoal.
The charcoal wool mix is not a solid black: it is woven with lighter colours to create a visually interesting detail of herringbone with flecks.
Composition: Outer 50% wool, 30% polyester, 20% cotton
Lining: 100% polyester
Hand wash or Gentle Cycle Machine Wash on cool temperature. Lay flat to reshape.
Made in Britain, locally in London.
Size charts never give a totally true picture of a garment but they can help so for this curvy pencil skirt we are providing measurements of the garment laid flat. Hip measurement taken at the widest point, which is approximately 10” below the top of the waistband.
