Description

  • Stunning 1940s style dress, oozing with authentic details.
  • The sweetheart neckline is the perfect height meaning it suits all busts regardless of shape and size with no fear of showing more cleavage than you'd want.
  • We like the design choice of grown on sleeves (as opposed to set in sleeves) as this makes for a roomy, comfortable fit around the arms.
  • Our favourite detail is the waterfall design sarong skirt that draws the eye across and down the length of the body, draping beautifully thanks to the rayon marocaine crepe.
  • Print is a dusky blue base with ivory & pale violet poppies.

Size & Fit

  • The hip is quite accommodating whilst the waist is fitted and the bust is semi fitted so choose your size based on your top half.
  • Length from waist to hem is approximately 27".

House of Foxy

The House of Foxy consider themselves to be the very opposite of fast fashion, believing their products to be investment pieces to be kept and worn many times. The company endeavours to become as sustainable and eco-friendly as possible through the following stated commitments:

  • Working hard to increase recycling throughout the business
  • Ensuring that all bags, packaging, garment tags and e-commerce bags are made from recyclable materials, biodegradable or sourced from certified sustainable sources
  • Recycling our textile waste and working with partners to deal with any samples, off cuts and fabric ends accumulated to help ensure none of our garments or used textiles end up in landfill.
  • Using recycling points in all our studios, warehousing and offices for everything. -
  • Working hard to eliminate single use plastics
  • Making sure that we are all mindful of our 'footprint' from considering how much we print to how much we need to travel

House of Foxy are a British company based in Yorkshire and they make some of their garments onsite though larger volume production is manufactured in Poland.

Foxy and Revival Retro

Clare and her team are clearly trying to do the right thing. Not every aspect of production is transparent but this is clearly a small business trying to make a difference. As we build our relationship with House of Foxy we open lines of communication that help us understand how and why they make their decisions so we know that our values are aligned.
