SIZE & FIT

  • These stockings are sized by height, but we've found that it's not an absolute.
  • S/M is 5'1" to 5'7"
  • M/L is 5'5" to 5'11"
  • One of our resident stocking addicts is a size 12-14, 5'9" and finds the S/M to be very comfortable, so if you're in the middle of the sizes, go up a size if you want them to sit higher.

Glamour Seamed Stockings by What Katie Did

When we asked What Katie Did about their sustainable and ethical practices they were happy to oblige and came back with details about the provenance of many different items in their collection. A sign that they are aware and actively thinking about how and where they produce.

“Our Glamour Seamed Stockings and Tights are made in Italy which is renowned for it's quality hosiery manufacturing”.

Relationships are important in this industry, you work with people you trust, who treat you fairly and with respect. I think it says a lot that What Katie Did have worked with the same hosiery supplier since day 1.

A recent development is redesigning their packaging to remove the use of plastic. The old packaging will not be wasted, stocks will sell through and eventually be replaced with paper packaging that can be recycled.

Revival Retro and What Katie Did

Always a pleasure to work with another women owned small business. It's good to work with companied that are willing to be transparent and are always looking at how to improve. Small companies offering specialist product are often turned away by factories only interested in high volumes. To this end it is sometimes necessary to make things abroad to find the right combination of a quality product at an attractive price.
