3 WAYS TO WEAR: THE TIMELESS

The Timeless is one of our most popular pieces. As standard we have it stocked in a beautiful green - because just look at it!

I love the art deco pleat detailing, the 30's style seaming under the bust and the overall 1940s pencil silhouette. (This is why the dress truly is timeless!) The high neck needs no necklace, which instantly makes it that little bit easier to accessorise.

To dress it down is easily done with plain flesh tights, minimal jewellery and a casual cardigan on top. When and if summer arrives, this can be a great piece alone with some lower heels or flats. A different coloured belt, maybe in brown is also a good way to keep the shape of the dress strong but add a more casual vibe. A brown cardigan, belt and some flat brogues in a tan colour will give this dress a delightfully bookish daytime look!

Going out somewhere special and want to give Timeless a whirl? Go for cream and ivory tones to give an elegant lift. How about pairing it with our Betty heels?  (Side note - these shoes are great with skinny jeans). Add a cream linen jacket, your trusty back seamed tights, a patent handbag, and away you go.

Need to crank it up a notch again? How about going for a bit more glamour with red heels and red bag? Say yes to green and red! When it comes to jewellery for such an occasion, I personally love these handmade Oriental Lantern style earrings- they add a fabulous pop of colour to contrast. Just swoop your hair up so they can dangle and catch the light freely. They’re bold and beautiful without taking away from the dress and the red of will link through with the rest of your accessories.

Take a look at Timeless here for a very wearable addition to your wardrobe.
Thanks to Sarah for modelling for me for this blog. She's wearing the size 14 and is about 5'9".
