Isn't she lovely...
Our new Own Range Piccadilly dress is the perfect dress to take you into spring. Whether it's for a wedding or for looking beautiful day-to-day, this dress is easy and fun to wear.
Let's start with the extremely pretty and feminine cut.
This is a daytime version of our Ritz evening gown! It shares the same demure neckline and flattering 1940s style gathering around the bust. (Hint - this detail is great no matter what size of boobs you have!)
This retro vintage dress has a delicate sleeve, floaty a-line skirt and of course... pockets! This is the departure from the Ritz Gown: The Piccadilly dress is intended for day-wear and as such it was important to make it practical as well as pretty.
Made of a silky viscose with a luxurious feel, we also lined it to ensure it had the right weight, hangs well and definitely won't be see through. It's important to us to create high quality garments that are great wardrobe investments. We want you to wear this dress again and again.
You may have noticed that we've been drawn to Liberty Heritage prints recently. But who can resist the whimsy and delight of these heritage designs from such a respected London institution? This 'Bell Flower' motif is no different. With its dusty lilacs, vibrant green and pretty pinks and lemon, you will feel fresh as a daisy in this print! Lottie has already got excited accessorising this dress choosing which colours to feature depending on her fancy.
Now we know it may feel like spring and summer are long away but that shouldn't stop you trying out this dress in our central London independent shop. As Maria is showing us here, it looks just as great with black tights, boots and a hat! You can also match many an Emmy cardigan to the colours in this dress, there are lots of great new colour cardigans for Spring that are going to work well.
But come spring and summer we recommend you sling on some Charlie Stone sandals and maybe a Delightful Daytime!
We have many more dresses coming in as part of our Own Range spring/summer collection. We love being able to design in-house, select high quality fabrics and have our pieces made in London by people we trust. We hope you'll support our independent shop so that we can keep designing more of what you love.
