Now, all of you out there have a fabulous dress (or two!) but if we are going to talk about 'old hollywood glamour' then it's all about making an entrance!
So, lets talk about coats and working your vintage stye from the outside to the inside.
Just look at the number of pictures of leading ladies in the 30s and 40s pictured in fitted jackets, fabulous coats and all kinds of accessories. Gloves, muffs, hats and furs. Of course we wouldn't buy or sell anything but faux fur but getting the finishing touches right is just as important as getting the foundation right.
My recommendation to you is this fantastic pure wool coat. The forest green is a great colour and I just love that dramatic collar. Very old hollywood glamour!
It's a long coat but not long enough to hit the floor which is much more practical moving around the city, you don't want your hem line training in the dirt!
My favourite detail though is on the sleeve, just look at that stitching, so pretty, it's just perfect.
