I am in love with the Louise Dress

by Mary Lowe June 04, 2019

My new favourite item this season is the Louise Shirt Dress in Zebra leaves print.

The first thing that drew me to this dress was it’s vibrant print.  With a great range of colours I knew I had plenty of items in my wardrobe I could dress it with.  One of my favourite combinations is to team it with my green delightful daytime cardigan and green berkeley belt.  For shoes I often decide on gold balboas and then wear gold jewellery so that I feel adequately balanced.  The pop of coral orange in the print then allows for the same colour in nail varnish or lipstick.  I think it’s safe to say that I love matching my outfit and accessories.

There has been much discussion between the Revival team and our customers about the preferred way to wear the neckline.  Lottie and myself wear the dress with a few of the buttons undone and the collar steamed down.  Others prefer to have all the buttons fastened to the top for a more conservative look making the most of the mandarin collar.

As with most of our dresses this comes with pockets meaning I can carry my essentials with me (phone, lipstick and bank card) without the need of a bag.  However I have had my eye on the Kelly bag in orange, seeing as it matches so well.

Finally the dress is made from 100% cotton meaning it’s super comfortable to wear but also nice and light for the warmer weather.   Not only that it’s machine washable and if you get it on a hanger as soon as it comes out of the wash it requires very little ironing….hooray.  Life is too short for ironing in my opinion.

The only question now is do I get it in another print?!
