Feeling happy in the Brighton Dress

Revival Retro launched it's brand new summer collection last month and my personal recommendation is the Brighton Dress.

Why am i jumping around like a maniac in this video? Well, I am ecstatically happy because we just reached our crowdfund target which means our supporters just helped us save our small business.

The current global pandemic is hitting everyone hard. As we were not eligible for a government grant and were finding it impossible to access the Coronavirus business interruption loans we turned to our customers asking them to Pay It Forward i.e. buy vouchers now to redeem later.

It worked. Via the generosity and support of our customers we are still in business.

The shop is still temporarily closed until restrictions are removed and for now we are despatch web orders once a week, but we are survivors, we're going to make it and we are buoyed by the amazing comments that accompanied the crowdfund pledges, we are more determined than ever to get through this.

Lot's of people asked me about the dress I'm wearing in this video. It's from our own range summer collection comprising of classic styles to flatter different body shapes.

This scoop neck dress was designed to accommodate a larger bust but still offer a defined waist, with a gathered skirt it skims any size hips.

The beautiful, bright, teal blue is an added attraction and we sourced a lightweight organic cotton that is GOTS certified for this production.

Our garments are made with people and planet in mind so I am proud to recommend this dress that was made locally in London, designed in house by our team, developed from staff and customers feedback trying on sample after sample and made with comfort and practicality in mind as well as good looks. This dress has big pockets, it's machine washable for ease and it's a timeless style that you will enjoy wearing summer after summer.
