The first time I had someone ask me for this dress was in the early autumn. It was by a bride surrounded by her gaggle of bridesmaids, and she had spotted the dress online. (Of course she fell in love.)
Now in this season's hottest colour wine, the Harlow would be a perfect addition to any style occasion, or elegant Autumn/Winter wedding.

Reason #1 (and most important): It suits all body types. With a high waist line, the satiny skirt flows across any and all curves, creating a tiny waist, whilst the ruching around the bust is both accommodating and flattering. As is, the Harlow suits average to tall ladies, but the skirt or shoulders can easily be altered for us not-so vertically blessed -- which means a floor-length gown that actually works for someone under 5'5"? Win!

Reason #2: The price! Dressing multiple women for such an important occasion can often break the bank, but at £149 for a floor-length evening gown, there's no need to sweat if you're looking to dress some bridesmaids. And if you're not a bridesmaid, you'll have more pocket money for cocktails! Yay!

Reason #3: The accessories! Was there ever a dress that went better with pearls? Seriously, break out those beautiful pearls you inherited from your aunty and shine like the classy dame you are. My colleague Sarah loves this dress with the Harlow earring, but as I'm petite I prefer a large diamante stud. It's up to you!

Reason #4: It's the perfect opportunity to go ALL OUT 1930s glamour. Treat yourself to some divine heels and a history-worthy Whiting and Davis handbag, and you will be the epitome of 1930s style.
