International Womens Day | Thursdate March 2018

by Charlotte Newell March 10, 2018

For the March edition of Thursdate, we decided to move it a week forward to coincide with a very important date... International Womens Day!

In the spirit of women supporting women, we invited our local Womens Institute along for the evening to host a rosette making workshop which went down an absolute storm!

Whilst everyone got stuck into the rosette making, the conversation naturally turned to women we admire.  It was heart warming to hear stories of triumph and success but it also highlighted how much more still needs to be done.  Many of the ladies decided to write slogans in their rosettes to reflect this.

"Women Supporting Women"

"Equal Pay Today"

"Deeds Not Words"

We had such a fun time and can't thank you all enough for coming!  Special thanks go to Helena and Pam from London West End WI, we hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did.
