For Autumn 2017 we have developed some seasonal staples that are flattering, comfortable and practical.
We source beautiful clothing from suppliers around the globe but the one thing there never seems to be enough of is layers. Here in England we are famous for our obsession with the weather (grumble, grumble) but for good reason’ it’s often cold, it rains, and changeable from one minute to the next, never mind one day to the next!
We dedicate ourselves to dressing you in the most flattering clothes, creating fantastic silhouettes and helping you feel great, then you have to go and put a cardigan and or a coat over the top because it’s grey and windy out there. So, as outerwear is not readily available from our Californian suppliers and most of the “British: offering is made cheaply in China and brings little benefit we decided to start making our own!
We’ve made high quality, fitted jackets for our curvy ladies.
There are also matching skirts (A-line or pencil) if you want to turn this into a matching suit.

Cardigans are a go to ‘staple’ for Autumn and at Revival there are some popular favourites such as the Emmy cardigans but it’s often remarked by our customers that cardigans often ‘dress down” an outfit when sometimes you desire something smarter and more elegant. Sometimes, what you need is a layer to transition through the seasons, but not a coat that you might end up having to carry. A lightweight jacket is the answer, one with feminine tailoring to fit and flatter, a layer of warmth without adding bulk.
We designed two that we feel are versatile enough to offer something for every body shape.
The double breasted figure flattering women’s jacket is great on busty, hourglass and pear shapes, two of the buttons fasten and two are decorative so you can move the buttons to achieve the best fit. Ideal if you are keen to cinch and make the most of your waist.
The single breast curve flattering jacket has room for bigger boobs and room for a tummy, booty, wide hips. It’s the exact opposite of most of the jackets available on the high street which are cut straight up and down and are often too slim fitting to be suitable for curvy women.
So many of our customers prefer an A line skirt, it is the most flattering after all, but practical too for running around, cycling back and forth, climbing stairs, bending, lifting, modesty protecting. So our key skirt for the season had to be A line and base upon your feedback we added big deep pockets so you can carry phones, lanyards, purse, keys, wipes, whatever you need!
Of course some of you girls prefer a stylish pencil skirt but we are all different sizes and shapes so rather than doing one off the peg, we have decided to offer a made to measure service in our store. Whatever, your hip to waist ratio, whether you want sexy wiggle or work appropriate, vintage length or above the knee we will do a fitting with you and make the skirt in the same fabric as the jacket) to your requirements.
It’s not just the made to measure pencil skirt that is made in London, out whole collection is made in London. We shop local, make local, support local. We think it’s important and it suits our need to insist on high quality, great fit and best practise.
