UPDATE 11/3/16 THEY'VE ARRIVED! CLICK HERE TO SHOP

We've all been there. You lose hours of your life on Pinterest, admiring and swooning over vintage shoes of yesteryear... so when I saw some Salvatore Ferregamo inspired wedges were coming in the new season Miss L Fire delivery, I got VERY excited!

Naturally there are other lovely shoes coming, like a sweet vintage style peep toe and a summer brogue, but it was the Marlene wedges that got us talking. They are just gorgeous. I can imagine their namesake Marlene Dietrich swanning around in a pair, by a pool, surrounded by palm trees. (Also, did you know we're launching swimwear soon? Keep it under your hat!)

You simply can't go wrong with a pair of wedges in the warmer months. They will dress up a pair of trousers (Especially a pair of high waisted jeans- click HERE for our range of Freddies of Pinewood denim)

I am calling dibs on a pair of the Gold/Rainbow wedges, whereas Revival Retro owner and founder Rowena is determined that a pair of the blue will make their way to her feet.

Regardless of your choice, you *know* that these babies will be selling out fast. Miss L Fire are a sure bet. They're comfortable to wear, they're always great price, and you already know that they will draw compliments every time you wear them.

What are you waiting for?! If you'd like an email when they arrive, let us know at boutique@revival-retro.com

The original shoe is below, created by the master of shoe design. It dates from 1938. This was incredibly cutting edge fashion for its time! I'm not sure I could walk in it, so the modern option is probably better for me!
