Leading Ladies: A Lookbook of Vintage Style for Autumn & Winter

by Rowena at Revival October 02, 2013

Inspired by our favourite leading ladies of yesteryear; Jean Harlow, Katherine Hepburn, Carole Lombard and many more. We channeled their suave sophistication, their attitude and confidence, their style and magnetism into a series of looks for day or night.

Visit our boutique in central London or shop online to find vintage style clothing to create that classic look.

The Natasha Dress – Beige Jacquard
The Viola Heel – Toffee

Two women sit in an old fashioned window seat, their clothing is 1940s inspired and both wear statement vintage shoes.

Those silver screen starlets appeared stylish even in pyjamas! I love how vintage style clothing makes me feel well put together even when I'm just hanging out with friends. As the days get shorter and it gets colder outside I enjoy simple mix and match separates for that well dressed yet comfortable outfit.

Those style icons from the 1930s and 1940s always seemed to wear the most beautiful dresses which always seemed to fit like a glove. That's why our collection is curated to feature best quality fabrics, design that flatters women's figures and attention to detail that really makes something special. For autumn we also look closely at texture and colour; a soft jaquard for a dress or a beautiful lace trim, a fabulous statement colourful shoe. Thoughtful details that are remarkable...
