Revival Terms and Conditions

Sales

Revival offers two purchase options:

In Store:

Visit us at The Revival Retro Boutique in the heart of the west end of London (nearest Tube Goodge Street or Tottenham Court Road). The boutique is open 12 noon to 7pm Monday to Saturday. Sunday trading hours are 12 noon to 5pm. If you wish to arrange a personal shopping appointment please contact us in advance to arrange this.

We accept cash payments as well as most major credit and debit cards (on international and corporate cards we reserve the right to charge a transaction fee of up to 3% of the total order value).

Online:

We are primarily a shop that you can visit but for those who are unable to make the journey we try to put as many of our products as possible online. Everything sold on our website is what we sell in our store, we make every effort to update the website as fast as possible as we sell through items in the shop. You are also very welcome to call us, ask questions and make your order over the telephone. The store number is 0207 636 8922 (we are available during store opening hours).

The e-commerce site is simple, easy to navigate and payment can be made via credit card or Paypal (GBP £ Sterling).

Revival makes every effort to keep stock details up to date but in the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfill your order we reserve the right to cancel the order. In this unlikely event we would provide a full refund immediately (including shipping costs). Notification will be sent by email no later than 48 hours after purchase.

Telephone orders:

It is possible to arrange mail order by telephone. Simply call us to discuss your requirements and we will arrange payment and despatch.

All shipping is arranged through Royal Mail. Our standard shipping option offers 2nd class postage within the UK and Airmail to Europe / Worldwide destinations. We find that Royal Mail is usually very reliable, however if you desire greater peace of mind we suggest you choose a delivery service that offers compensation against loss or damage. This is available for a value of up to £500 with Express Safeguard Shipping which uses Special Delivery Next day within the UK and Airsure to Europe /Worldwide destinations. The costs charged by Revival are for delivery only. Any additional tax or custom charges must be borne by you. We take full responsibility for the order up until the time that it is dispatched and will take every care to ensure the packaging is secure to protect the goods whilst in transit. Revival cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage that occurs after the package has been dispatched by us.

If your order weighs in excess of 2kg alternative shipping arrangements may need to be made. We will contact you to discuss prior to despatch. In this event you can either pay the additional shipping charge or cancel your order with a full refund.

Revival does not ship to the United States of America.

Exchange and Refund

From completion of your order (the date payment is received) you will have a 8 day period to advise cancellation of your order and request a full refund of the cost of goods. Goods must be received by us within 14 days of purchase.

Goods to be refunded or exchanged must be returned at your own cost and are your responsibility until received by Revival. We recommend you return goods by secure delivery with signature upon delivery (please remember to include your name, phone number and email aswell  as the Exchange/Refund Reference that we supply). A full refund of the cost of goods will be made where the items are returned by the deadline in the condition in which they were sold i.e. as new and unworn (for dance shoes; soles must be intact so we recommend you try these on carpet only and shoes must be returned in the original box). All garments are dispatched with a returns advice label intact if this is torn or detached no refund or exchange will be offered. Only remove the Returns advice label once you are sure you want to keep your purchase. Refunds are at the sole discretion of Revival.

Handworked, handbeaded and handmade items such as our 1920s dresses and accessories are non refundable and non exchangeable.

Shipping costs are non refundable.

Complaints & Feedback

If you believe the goods were defective at the time of dispatch then you must advise us in writing within 48 hours of receipt.

We stand behind our products and should you be dissatisfied in any way we would like to know. We will listen to your complaint and do our very best to resolve the matter in a manner you find satisfactory.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at www.hmso.gov.uk.
